United States Learns Copa America Opponents; Gillette Stadium Hosts Brazil and Chile

To the surprise of no one, the USMNT is in another Group of Death for Copa America 2016.

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

With the United States already looking at playing Paraguay and Costa Rica at this summer's Copa America Centenario, it really didn't matter who the final team was from South America

Group A was going to be "The Group of Death."

Colombia would complete Group A as the full draw of the 2016 Copa America took place earlier tonight. The full group results are below.

The USMNT will open the tournament against Colombia on June 3rd at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., followed by Costa Rica on June 7 at Soldier Field in Chicago and ends with Paraguay on June 11 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

The group is by far the hardest in the tournament, with the average ranking ranking of the teams via either the FIFA Rankings or ESPN's Soccer Power Index as legendary stats guru for ESPN Paul Carr details.

The draw also gave us the two group stage matches that will be set at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass, home of the New England Revolution. Brazil will face Peru in their Group B finale on June 12 while Chile and Bolivia will play their second Group D match on June 10. Gillette will also host one of the quarterfinal matches in the knockout stages on June 18 between the winner of Group D, headlined by Argentina, and the runner up in Group C.
