On Friday afternoon the Rochester Rhinos will announce the signing of midfielder Nate Bourdeau. Bourdeau has recently played professional indoor soccer with the Syracuse Silver Knights.
The Rutgers University graduate, originally from Baldwinsville in Central New York, played three seasons with the Silver Knights in the MISL and MASL. He played alongside first-year Rhinos winger Kenardo Forbes in the arena game.
Bourdeau was one of several trialist players training with the team in recent teams. He impressed Bob Lilley and the Rochester coaching staff enough to earn a contract for the remainder of the 2015 USL season.

Bourdeau took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce he was joining the Rhinos. Rochester brought in Bourdeau to bolster the team's midfield ahead of the USL roster freeze on September 1 after season-ending injuries to both Christian Silva and New England Revolution loanee Tyler Rudy.
The Rhinos host Saint Louis FC on Sunday afternoon as they look to secure a first-round playoff bye. Goalkeeper Brandon Miller has the opportunity to tie the USL single-season clean sheet record in front of the Rochester faithful at Sahlen's Stadium.
