The New England Revolution have signed left back Seth Sinovic, who spent the last nine seasons with Sporting KC.

“Seth brings a wealth of experience in MLS and a winning pedigree to our roster,” Revolution Sporting Director and Head Coach Bruce Arena explained. “We are excited to welcome Seth back to New England and are eager to begin working with him in January.”

Sinovic, 32, was drafted by the Revs in 2010 and made 20 appearances (18 starts) during his rookie year for a total of 1,580 minutes. He was waived on Mar. 31, 2011, ultimately signing with Sporting KC in May 2011.

Sinovic collected many trophies while with SKC, including the MLS Cup (2013) and three U.S. Open Cups (2012, 2015, and 2017). Sinovic made 210 appearances for Sporting KC, earning the club’s Defender of the Year title in 2014.

This is the second left back the Revs have signed this off-season as Alexander Buttner was inked on Nov. 1. The two veterans will compete for the spot with Buttner being the presumed starter.
