New England Revolution officials are currently on a scouting trip, according to club president Brian Bilello.

On Thursday’s episode of State of the Revs, Bilello noted that club representatives are out looking for new additions ahead of the 2019 season. He didn’t go into any specifics regarding a location, but he did say that targets have been identified.

Bilello noted that some new personnel is needed after missing the playoffs for three straight years. Head coach Brad Friedel made a similar comment earlier in the episode. The Revs were eliminated from the post-season just before their 32nd game.

Friedel brought in twelve players during his first season at the helm. One was a Homegrown, two were loanees, three were draftees, and the rest were standard transactions.

It’s unknown if this scouting trip will leads to any signings. That said, Bilello was clear that more trips will be scheduled throughout the off-season.
