The New England Revolution have signed an attacking player, according to a report from Jonathan Sigal.

On Friday, Sigal spoke to club president Brian Bilello, who confirmed that a new arrival is on his way. Head coach Brad Friedel added to the hype, saying, “He’s a player the fans and players will be very happy to see involved.”

The Revs have already inked Homegrown midfielder Isaac Angking, defender Gabriel Somi, and Wilfried Zahibo. They also made a pair of SuperDraft picks in Brandon Bye and Mark Segbers, both versatile defenders.

The latest signing, which Bilello also teased earlier this week, will soon be in Foxboro for a medical. It’s unknown when his identity will be revealed.

The Revs open preseason camp on Monday, Jan. 22 and will train locally before traveling to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. on Friday. The club will play a series of friendlies in Florida and Arizona with their season opener in Chester, PA on March 3.
