Dielna, 29, signed with the Revs on Jul. 28 but couldn’t be added to the roster until he received his P1-Visa and International Transfer Certificate. With those documents secured, Dielna will soon arrive in Foxboro.
The left-footed defender can play as a center and left back, though head coach Jay Heaps has said he sees him playing primarily in the middle.
At this junction it’s unclear when Dielna will make his debut. The Revs have a home game against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday, but Heaps has told Lemieux that he wants to be patient with his new acquisition.
Heaps said #NERevs "have to make sure we bring [Dielna] along at the right speed." He'll train for the first time w/ Revs on Thursday. (2/2)

Dielna is excited to join the Revolution and used social media to make a commitment to his new teammates. This will be his first time playing in MLS after spending ten years in Europe.
I can't wait to play for @NERevolution looking forward to working hard with my new teammates ⚽️
