Tristan Bowen, who was selected by the Revolution in the 2014 Re-Entry Draft, has been located, and it looks like he has no interest in coming to New England as the 24-year-old attacker is currently on trial with Hallescher FC of Germany's 3. Liga.
Bowen, who signed as an LA Galaxy Homegrown before stints with Chivas USA and the Seattle Sounders, looked primed to switch coasts after being chosen by the New England Revolution in Stage Two of the Re-Entry Draft. It wasn't to be, however, as the two parties didn't come to terms, despite an offer being made.
Since then, Bowen has been without a club, though he has remained in the public eye through inspirational Twitter messages.
Meanwhile, the Revs moved on by acquiring Sean Okoli from the Sounders. The two budding stars are similar players, so you'd imagine that Okoli is fulfilling the role that the Revs thought Bowen would.
Bowen's trial in Germany has received a lot of attention from local media. Interestingly, several articles find it relevant to mention that Bowen once played with David Beckham.
