The Hammerheads have played fewer games than all other teams in USL Pro, but the team is still sitting comfortably in the league standings. Long-time head coach David Irving knows this league well and his knowledge is paying dividends for the club this season.
Wilmington played last night on the road in Harrisburg before traveling on to Rochester. This is not the first time that the Rhinos have played an opponent that played the previous night, but Rochester failed to capitalize earlier in the year.
Bob Lilley will be hoping that the Rhinos can carry over some of last week's fire for tonight's match-up. Donnie Smith starts in an advanced position on the left wing tonight and will try to impress during another short loan spell with the Rhinos.
