JK, I like you guys.
Rochester has played the Dutch Lions twice so far this season, both times in the greater Dayton area (1-1 draw and a 1-0 win).
Rochester Rhinos lineup:
Luis Soffner; Onua Obasi, Kyle Hoffer, Babacar Diallo, Pat McMahon; Sam Petrone, Alec Sundly, JC Banks, Lance Rozeboom; Minh Vu, Levi Houapeu
Subs: John McCarthy, Alex Dixon, Johnny Mendoza, Tyler Rosenlund, Matt Luzunaris, Tony Walls, Patrick Slogic
Dayton Dutch Lions lineup:
Matt Williams; Brock Granger, Matt Wiet, Ross Friedman, Shane Smith; Taylor Bowlin, Sebastian Thuriere, Shintaro Harada; Aaron Schoenfeld, Eli Garner, Cameron Vickers
Subs: Scott Krotee, Matheus DeSantos, Eric Kissinger, Matt Walker, David Clemens, Guilherme Felix, Joe Broekhuizen
Notes:
Aaron Schoenfeld is clearly the team's dangerman at centerforward with 8 of Dayton's 15 goals this season.
In the previous two games against Dayton, the Rhinos earned 4 points. The team has faced Williams, Granger, Smith, Garner, Harada, and Schoenfeld twice. This is definitely a side that Bob Lilley and the coaching staff know well and should know how to approach the game.
On the bench for Rochester tonight is center forward Matt Luzunaris. Big Luz was also on the bench on Wednesday night against D.C. but is now ready to make his comeback after suffering a horrific leg break at the beginning of last season.
You'll also notice that Sundly slots right into the starting lineup as Lilley wants to get as much use of the on-loan midfielder ahead of Wednesday's showdown with the Revolution.
