If you're an old school MLS fan, you probably remember Khano Smith, the speedy, left-footed winger who played for the New England Revolution and New York Red Bulls. Although he hasn't played in the league since 2010, Sports Illustrated writer Grant Wahl felt it was appropriate to make a Smith reference during leg one of the Montreal Impact-Toronto FC match. The results were quite entertaining.
@GrantWahl sorrry at @GrantWahl what sort of soccer career did you have? Can we get some footage of you kicking a ball???

@khanosmith18 I deserved that, Khano. Had a lot of fun watching you over the years. Same with Oduro.

@khanosmith18 the high points were very high, no lie.

The banter didn't stop there, as Smith was quick to comment after Dominic Oduro scored in leg two.

I think I speak for everyone when I say I want more interactions between Smith and Wahl.
