Hours before the New England Revolution kicks off against Orlando City SC, an important debate occurred among the Foxboro Faithful. It wasn't about whether Jermaine Jones should play as a defender or midfielder. Or if Kelyn Rowe should be a starter. It wasn't even about Lee Nguyen's contract status.
No, the debate that raged on via social media was which Hogwarts house would the Revolution roster be sorted into?
And yes, there was a final answer.
The discussion was sparked by an innocent picture posted by club president Brian Bilello, who happened upon Harry Potter-inspired scarfs.

The post incited a debate about where Revolution players would land if they attended Hogwarts. Jake Catanese, TBM's resident Potter expert, broke down the houses as followings: Gryffindor (red) focuses on bravery and Ravenclaw (blue) on intelligence. Slytherin (green) is known for being conniving and Hufflepuff (yellow) is basically for everyone else.
When we use the soccer comparisons, Gryffindor represents leadership, Ravenclaw inherits the more smart, tactical players, Slytherin the tricky, unafraid to get dirty players and Hufflepuff the all-around contributors.
With that in mind, here is a fan-produced list:

If that wasn't enough, someone was creative enough to re-imagine Chris Tierney in the vein of Potter.

If this is a sign of things to come, Orlando City will certainly be a welcomed addition to the league.
