The word "rivalry" is thrown around a lot in Major League Soccer, but I think it's safe to say that the New England Revolution don't like D.C. United. The two MLS originals have had plenty of spirited contests, many of which involved current head coaches Jay Heaps and Ben Olsen. While the Revs and DC won't step onto the field until Saturday night, the banter has already begun.
It all started when the Revolution's official account posted a video on Twitter that showed Slyde destroying a D.C. United welcome mat. From there, a match of wits was born.

@dcunited So you're getting rid of old things? We understand. We don't live in the past, either. Thanks, again, for our new doormat!
