Mike Burns has already completed his biggest offseason to-do. Earlier this week, the Revolution GM hired former U.S. goalkeeper Brad Friedel to fill his coaching vacancy, according to a report from Ives Galarcep.
That news broke to mixed reactions. Some praised the hiring of a soccer mastermind who has more on-field experience than any Revolution coaching candidate. Others criticized the move, sighting Friedel’s coaching resume—he has never led a senior-level team—as a major cause of concern.
Clearly, the Revolution think Friedel will succeed in Foxboro. What do you think?
