The run of impressive soccer crowds at Gillette Stadium is set to continue as the New England Revolution are expecting over 25,000 fans for Saturday’s game against the New York Red Bulls.

Days after 1,200 fans traveled to Red Bull Arena for the first game of the Eastern Conference Final, club president Brian Bilello announced via Twitter that he’s expecting an impressive turnout for the return leg.

According to the tweet, Saturday’s audience should surpass the 20,184 people that attended the semifinal. If true, the Revolution would set a new record in regards to tickets sold for a home playoff game.

Tickets for the spirited Fort, a nickname for sections 141-143, have already sold out and are being resold on Stub Hub. The cheapest general admission ticket currently being scalped is going for $57.67 plus fees. Tickets for other sections remain available through Ticketmaster.

This season has already proven to be a banner year for the Revolution as the team has made significant growth both on and off the field. The increased attendance numbers are a reward for this success.
