Tajon Buchanan named to MLS Week 19 Team of the Week

After a tremendous performance in Toronto, Buchanan was honored for his dominance.

Tajon Buchanan balled out against Toronto FC. Playing in front of friends and family, the winger showed why European teams are trying to acquire his services.

Buchanan scored off a beautiful DeJuan Jones cross that was sent into the box. The Canadian leaped over a Toronto defender and snuck a header into the back of the net.

The Brampton native definitely got the attention of everyone around the league as Buchanan found his way on MLS’ Week 19 Team of the Week.

2021 has been a dream season for Buchanan. He has new career highs with four goals and three assists already this campaign and also played for Canada at the Gold Cup.

Buchanan also will be headed to the All-Star game out in LA as he was one of the commissioner’s selections for the special match.

The 22-year-old is also constantly tied to transfer rumors with his value being at an all-time high. Buchanan has yet to comment on the rumors but it seems like if a move will happen, it will be announced relatively soon.

But for now, Revolution fans will be hoping that Buchanan can maintain his high level play for as long as he is New England.
