Adam Buksa has heard the rumors that say he’ll be called up to the Polish National Team and he’s excited that it could happen.
A Polish news outlet reported that Buksa should be part of the squad that participates in World Cup Qualifiers in September. Buksa is aware of the chatter, but he’s not ready to comment until it’s official.
Buksa has featured for Poland at various youth levels, but he’s yet to breakthrough with the first team. His call up in Nov. 2018 didn’t result in an appearance and he was unable to participate in the Sept. 2020 camp because of COVID-19 restrictions.
Buksa has said that playing for the Polish National Team is “a dream” and it could come true if all goes well.
“As long as it’s not official I wouldn’t like to refer to that,” Buksa said. “Hopefully we can talk about it officially next week, I hope so. I would be very happy with that.”
