One of the stars of New England’s 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Union was DeJuan Jones and it appears that the rest of MLS noticed how he performed.

Jones was named to Week 18’s MLS Team of the Week. On Sunday, Jones completed 85 percent of his passes while having 108 touches, 11 duels won, and four tackles.

The left back seemed to always have the ball at his feet and he continued to show that he has improved his left foot. His pace is one of his greatest assets and it’s likely the reason that European teams are interested in him.

But Jones wasn’t the only player on the entire roster. Matt Turner found his way onto the MLS Team of the Week bench. The goalkeeper had five saves and did his part to ensure that New England would walk away with three points. Compared to his performance against Nashville, Turner was tested a lot more.

The Revolution are now have a 10 point lead at the top of the Eastern Conference table as they head to the Great White North to play Toronto FC on Saturday.
