The United States Men’s National Team finally knows who their first opponent is in the Gold Cup and New England Revolution fans will want to tune in.

After Haiti defeated Bermuda 4-1 on Tuesday night they ensured that they will face off against the USMNT on Sunday.

This matchup will definitely be of particular note for Revs fans as two current players will face off.

Matt Turner is likely to get the majority if not all of the starts for the United States. This appears to be his best chance to prove that he deserves a shot at being the No.1 overall goalkeeper for the stars and stripes. If Turner gets the start on Sunday it will be his second start for the USMNT

On the other side Revs II defender Francoise Dulysse was called up by Haiti for the Gold Cup. Dulysse didn’t appear in a Gold Cup qualification match, but it sure would be a treat if he got to go up against the United States and Turner.

Revolution fans will also recognize a name on Haiti’s roster. Zachary Herivaux did appear in the game against Bermuda on Tuesday. The former Rev has made 16 appearances for Haiti.

So if Revolution fans want to take a look at the past, present, and future of the team, Sunday night is the perfect opportunity.
