The New England Revolution will be without Jon Bell this weekend, but will have the services of Adam Buksa and DeJuan Jones, according to head coach Bruce Arena.
On Jul. 25, Bell played 62 minutes at center back against CF Montreal before leaving with a lower body injury. When asked for an update, Arena simply said that Bell would be out against the New York Red Bulls.
Buksa also left the Montreal game early, departing in the 36th minute after getting hit by goalkeeper James Pantemis. Arena said that Buksa will be available on Saturday, adding, “He was cleared. No particular issues with anything.”
Saturday could also mark the return of Jones, who hasn’t played since Jul. 17. On Jul. 23, Arena said, “Jones looked good today in training.” On Friday, Arena said that Jones will be available for selection against the Red Bulls.
The only other injury to report is Luis Caicedo, who continues to be out with a lower body ailment.
