Tajon Buchanan might be with Team Canada at the Gold Cup, but his performances there are making waves all across the globe.
Buchanan has been one of the stars of the tournament. He has caused chaos on the left wing and has made quite the impact. In two games so far he has three assists. When you combine that with Buchanan’s dominant performance in MLS with three goals and three assists this season, clubs across the world are going to have their interests piqued.
We have heard Buchanan be linked to clubs, but now we know that the Revs received an offer from RC Lens in France offering $3.5 million for the 22-year-old thanks to Tom Bogert.
New England Revolution and Canada int'l Tajon Buchanan has a number of clubs closely following him, including from the Champions League and Bundesliga, I'm told.

Revs already received offers, per @TSNScianitti. Rejected a bid from RC Lens in France for around $3.5m, per source.
This follows the trend of what fans heard prior to Saturday that the Canadien is attracting the interest of some serious clubs. In previous reports, Juventus was named as a club interested in Buchanan.
There is no doubt that New England will miss Buchanan. They already have seen how difficult life can be without him losing to Toronto FC (also not having Matt Turner played a role in the disappointing performance).
But with bigger clubs entering the race comes a bigger return. If the offers start to increase, the Revs will almost be forced to move Buchanan. Losing him would impact the Revs chances of lifting a trophy at the end of the season, but this is the next logical step in a player like Buchanan’s career.
So Revolution fans better appreciate watching Buchanan don the crayon flag because his time in New England seems to be nearing its end.
