Days after reports surfaced on interest for midfielder Tajon Buchanan, another New England Revolution name has piqued interest from top-flight European clubs.

According to a report from Tomasz Wlodarczyk, Polish striker Adam Buksa has drawn interest from “major clubs in France.” Additional reports from Eugenio González Aguilera state that Ligue 1-side AS Monaco has shown “serious interest” in the Polish striker.

AS Monaco is looking to bounce back after finishing the 2020-21 Ligue 1 season in third place with a total of 78 points after a 24-8-6 and trailed eventual Ligue 1 champions Lille by five points.

The 24-year-old Designated Player joined the New England Revolution from Polish-side Pogon Szczecin in December of 2019. Throughout his first season in Major League Soccer, Buksa clocked in nearly 1500 minutes over 23 appearances with six goals and two assists.

The Polish striker has gotten off to a hot start in 2021 as he’s notched a club-leading four goals through the first eight games and will look to contribute to the Revolution’s offense throughout the remainder of the season.

As rumors speculate around two of New England’s brightest stars, it’s unclear what the outcome of the proposed transfer rumors will result in. With Bruce Arena and staff looking to build upon the success of 2020, it seems very unlikely we will see any departures during the upcoming transfer window.
