New England Revolution fans in attendance for the Sunday, May 16th home match against the reigning MLS Cup champions, the Columbus Crew, will be in for a special treat.

After the Revolution host the Columbus Crew at 6:30 PM, fans at Gillette Stadium will be able to stay after and watch the Revs USL League One-side Revolution II, as they take on the Chattanooga Red Wolves at 8:30.

For those in attendance who may not be too familiar with the club or its players, I would highly suggest you stay and watch.

With the likes of Maciel and Jon Bell joining the Revolution ranks after a spell with Revs II, it’s a great way to see the future of the Revolution in the present.

Also, Revs II has some talented players in Joe Rice, Francois Dulysse, Damian Rivera, Connor Presley, and Ryan Spaulding. It’s a match that fans won’t want to miss.

Especially since you don't have to pay anything extra to watch another 90 minutes of entertaining soccer.

(UPDATE: H/T to @ajvsell, @StevenMErickson, and @IamElScorcho for pointing out that the Revs have hosted doubleheaders. The title has been changed to emphasize that this is the first doubleheader with Revs II) - Sam
