Revs sign SuperDraft pick Edward Kizza

On March 5th the Revolution announced the signing of Edward Kizza. The Ugandan native was selected by the Revolution with the 24th overall pick in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft.

Kizza joins the Revolution after spending three seasons with the University of Pittsburgh. During his time as a Panther, Kizza appeared in 53 matches and notched a total of 31 goals and 7 assists over 4,187 minutes.

The forward was also able to rack up multiple awards throughout his collegiate career. Kizza was named an All-ACC First Team twice along with All-ACC Freshman Team honors, All-South Region Second Team honors, and two All-ACC Academic Team honors.

Also with Kizza signing a contract with New England, he will take up an international roster spot for the Revs.

In a video posted to Revolution social media channels, Kizza states that he’s “Excited to be here” and “Can’t wait” to see Revs fans soon.
