Revolution sign Edward Kizza

On March 5^th the Revolution announced the signing of Edward Kizza. The Ugandan native was selected by the Revolution with the 24^th overall pick in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft.

Kizza joins the Revolution after spending three seasons with the University of Pittsburgh. During his time as a Panther, Kizza appeared in 53 matches and notched a total of 31 goals and 7 assists over 4,187 minutes.

The forward was also able to rack up multiple awards throughout his collegiate career. Kizza was named an All-ACC First Team twice along with All-ACC Freshman Team honors, All-South Region Second Team honors, and two All-ACC Academic Team honors.

Also with Kizza signing a contract with New England, he will take up an international roster spot for the Revs.

In a video posted to Revolution social media channels, Kizza states that he’s “Excited to be here” and “Can’t wait” to see Revs fans soon.
