We got our first glimpse at the New England Revolution’s 2021-22 secondary kit on Friday via the team’s official Twitter account. There will be more hints dropping throughout the weekend with the full shirt being revealed on Tuesday, Mar. 2.

As is always the case with these slow reveals, the first hint doesn’t give away much. The navy stripes on top of white could be located on the shoulders.
The new shirt is expected to be white. The Bent Musket was able to uncover the official description of the shirt, which reads a bit like poetry.
It says, “A tribute to the steadfast support New England Revolution receives from the fort at Gillette Stadium. The graphics on this adidas authentic jersey draw inspirations from New England’s off-shore defenses.”
We’ll have to wait for more images before we jump to any conclusions, though we feel comfortable enough to say that the image Andrew Farrell posted on Twitter is incorrect. I, for one, am disappointed.
