There was plenty of excitement before the New England Revolution kicked off against Miami FC on Sunday as the players wore the new crest on the field for the first time and the fans revealed their latest tifo.

Although the Revs’ new crest won’t go into effect until 2022, the players provided a preview of what’s to come with their warmup jackets. The Revs will wear the Crayon Flag throughout their playoff run.

All eyes soon shifted to the Fort because the fans revealed a new tifo, which read, “The Shield Belongs in New England.” It’s the first time that the Revolution have won the Supporters’ Shield, which is given to the team with the best record in the league.

Revolution players will celebrate their record-breaking season by lifting the Supporters’ Shield after the final whistle. It will be the first time that the players have touched the trophy.
