It seemed like a certainty after his performance in September but on Tuesday Adam Buksa officially got the call that he would get to represent Poland once again in October’s World Cup Qualifying matches.

The 25-year-old got his first three caps a month ago and was able to score four goals including a hat trick against San Marino. Buksa currently leads all UEFA goal scorers in goals per 90 minute (1.9) and goal conversion (80 percent). The New England Revolution striker is also the only player in UEFA’s top 25 goal scorers who represents a non-European club.

Poland has two matches in the window as it faces San Marino at home on October 9th at 2:45 p.m. ET on ESPN+ and then Poland travels to Albania on October 12th with the match airing on ESPN+ starting at 2:45 p.m. ET

Buksa has been in great form for New England as he is tied for the club lead in goals (13) and will look to continue scoring goals in World Cup Qualifiers. The 25-year-old is now among the top three Polish scorers in MLS history as his 19 career goals are tied with Robert Warzycha who was with the Columbus Crew from 1996-2003.
