Revs II prepare for USL League One debut

After having the season suspended on March 12th, USL League One is finally back!

The New England Revolution II will prepare for their inaugural match on July 25th as they prepare to take on Union Omaha, who will also make their USL League One debut.

Revolution II will be coached by the legendary Clint Peay. Peay has spent the past 17 years in various coaching positions for various teams including Georgetown University, North Carolina FC, and various United States youth teams.

Revolution II will primarily be a way for various Revs academy players to hone their craft in a professional environment. Although there have been several additions to the Revolution II. These additions include names like Jon Bell, Simon Lekressner, Oskar Bloch, Joe Rice, and more. The Revolution II will also allow players on the first team roster to get some playing time. This is the case for Nicolas Firmino, who was added to the Revolution II’s roster for Saturday’s match against Omaha.

Fans who are looking to watch the Revolution II’s inaugural match can do so at 5 P.M. Eastern time via ESPN’s streaming service, ESPN+.
