Groups drawn for the MLS is Back Tournament

The Revs will face familiar foes as they find themselves in Group C

On Thursday June 11th the MLS held a drawing to determine what groups clubs would be in for the round robin stage of the MLB is Back Tournament, set to begin on July 8th in Orlando Florida.

At the hand of Revolution legend Charlie Davies, New England was the first team drawn during the online broadcast. In Group C the Revs will face off against Toronto FC, Montreal Impact, and D.C. United in what should be an exciting slate of matches for Revs fans.

Also in the Eastern Conference, Group A will see host Orlando take on Inter Miami, NYCFC, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Nashville. Group E will pit Atlanta, Cincinnati, NY Red Bulls, and Columbus against one another.

In the Western Conference we have three groups of four teams each. Group B will see Seattle, FC Dallas, Vancouver, and San Jose competing. In group D we have Real Salt Lake, Sporting KC, Colorado, and Minnesota. And finally Group F will showcase LAFC, LA Galaxy, Houston, and Portland.

Following Group Stage play, the Round-of-16 is set to run from July 25th-28th, followed by the Quarterfinals on July 30 - August 1. The Semi-finals will be played on August 5th & 6th, and the Tournament final will be played on August 11th.
