Former New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis wants you to know that not all bald people look the same.
MLS Twitter was abuzz Thursday after Cincinnati FC announced Jaap Stam as their next head coach. Stam, who coached Reading, PEC Zwolle, and Feyenoord, will be tasked with righting a team that finished last in 2019.
The hire isn’t what people were talking about, however. Instead, Twitter was poking fun at Cincinnati’s social media team.
You see, the tweet announcing the arrival of Stam actually featured the wrong picture.
YOU GUYS. I cannot make this up. In their announcement tweet, FCC put up a picture of a man who isn't Jaap Stam. pic.twitter.com/dEtEV2Sl9c

While it’s true that the picture used does look like Stam, Twitter isn’t a forgiving place. Many jumped on the opportunity to ridicule Cincinnati.

The wave of tweets prompted a response from Reis, who had an important PSA for the soccer world.
Not all bald people look alike!
