The New England Revolution’s new home kit will be an “evolution of a classic,” according to a source.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the club—as well as Major League Soccer—the Revs will be wearing a shirt that “takes design cues from the one the team wore in its first elite season.” We’re told the shirt will be red, white, and blue and will feature a v-neck.
Although we haven’t seen the actual shirt, we have seen Gustavo Bou wearing red shorts, which the team sported in 1996 (to be fair, the team has worn red since then).

Our other preview of the new look came on Jan. 17 when the Revs tweeted a picture of the three white stripes that are slated to be on the shoulder.
