New England Revolution 2020 Schedule released

A rundown of who the Revs will play in the upcoming season

Revs fans rejoiced on Thursday as the Revolution’s 2020 MLS regular season schedule was announced.

As previously reported on The Bent Musket, the Revs will kick off the 2020 regular season on the road as they visit Montreal to take on the Impact on February 29th at 3:00 PM. The Revs will host their first home game of the 2020 season on March 7th as they face off against the newly rebranded Chicago Fire in a Saturday matinee at 1:30 PM.

On Sunday March 15th, the Revs will host the Portland Timbers at 1:30 PM.

New returnee Kelyn Rowe and the Revs will travel to face off against his former team Real Salt Lake on March 21st at 9:00 PM.

The Revs will kick off their second homestretch as they host the Colorado Rapids on April 4th. They will then host F.C. Cincinnati on April 11th. Both games have a slated kickoff time of 7:30 PM.

On April 18th, the Revs will take a short trip to New Jersey as they will face off against the New York Red Bulls at 1:00 PM.

The Revs return to Gillette on April 25th as they will host the Montreal Impact at 1:00 PM.

The Revs will then travel North of the border to face off against the 2019 Eastern Conference Champion Toronto F.C. on April 29th at 8:00 PM.

Eastern Conference foe NYCFC will roll into town on May 2nd to face off against the Revs at 7:30 PM.

Nippert Stadium is next for the Revs as they will travel to the Queen City on May 9th to face off against F.C. Cincinnati at 7:30 PM.

The boys will return to Gillette for two games as they will host Gyasi Zardes and the Crew will visit on May 16th, and Toronto F.C. will visit on May 23rd. Both games slated for a 7:30 PM kickoff.

The Revs will travel to Chicago to play in a bigger football stadium as they will face the newly rebranded Chicago Fire on May 30th.

D.C. United kicks off the month of June by visiting Gillette on the 6th at 7:30 PM.

The Revs will then make the trek to Yankee Stadium as they will face off against NYCFC at 5:00 PM.

2019 MLS Cup Champs, the Seattle Sounders will visit the Revs for a 7:30 PM match up on June 17th. Four days later, they will also host Orlando City SC at 7:30 PM.

The Revs will then travel to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to take on the newly established Inter Miami for the first time ever.

On the eve to the 4th of July, the Revs will look to light some fireworks down in the Lone Star State as they square off against the Houston Dynamo.

Atlanta United will visit the Revs on July 8th and will continue the recent saga between both clubs.

Former Revs defender Jalil Anibaba and his new club, Nashville SC, will visit on July 11th at 7:30 PM.

At some point on July 18th, the Revs will travel down to Chester, Pennsylvania to face off against the Philadelphia Union.

The Red Bulls and Revs will square off again on July 25th at 7:30 PM.

After this, the Revs will have a 4-game road stretch where they will first visit San Jose on August 1st to face the Earthquakes at 10:00 PM. On August 7th, the Revs will face off against LAFC at 10:30 PM. The Revs will then return to the eastern seaboard as they travel down to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia to take on Atlanta United at 7:30 PM. The final stop of this road trip is in Columbus, Ohio as the Revs will take on the Crew on August 15th at 7:30 PM.

New signee Seth Sinovic will see his former teammates as Sporting Kansas City pays a visit to New England on August 22nd for a nighttime matchup.

Audi Field is the Revs next destination as they will face off against Eastern Conference rival D.C. United on August 27th at 7:30 PM.

Philadelphia travel north to Foxboro on September 12th for a 7:30 PM matchup.

On September 19th, the Revs travel to St. Paul, Minnesota to take on the Loons at 8:00 PM.

September 26th will be the Revs last regular season home game as Inter Miami visits Foxboro for the first time. Kickoff slated for 7:30 PM.

The Revs will end regular season action on October 4th as they will travel to Orlando to face Orlando City SC at 4:30 PM.

Overall, it seems this season will be full of exciting action as the Revs will get a chance to see both expansion teams in Nashville SC and Inter Miami. We also get a bunch of eastern conference matchups with teams like Toronto, Montreal, DC, and Philadelphia.
