The New England Revolution revealed their 2019 schedule on Monday, giving fans plenty to be excited about.
The Revs will play 34 matches, opening at FC Dallas on Saturday, March 2 and closing at Atlanta on Sunday, Oct. 6. The Revolution’s home opener is against Columbus Crew SC on March 9.
Here are a few notes on the schedule:
- Two Revolution games will be nationally televised. The first, which will be shown on ESPN, will occur on Friday, Jul. 12 when the Revs visit Audi Field to play D.C. United. The second, which will air on Univision, will occur on Saturday, Sept 7 when the Revs travel to face New York City FC at Yankee Stadium.
- The Revolution’s busiest stretch will occur in late April, early May. During that time they will host Atlanta United (April 13), New York Red Bulls (April 20), and Montreal Impact (April 24) before heading on the road to face Sporing Kansas City (April 27), Philadelphia Union (May 4) and Chicago Fire (May 8).
- The Revs play six of their first ten games at home. Six of their final ten games are played on the road.
- The Revs have three Wednesday night home games (Apr. 24 v. Montreal, Jun/ 26 v. Philadelphia, and Jul. 17 v. Vancouver).
