Wilfred Zahibo is an MLS All-Star in his first season with the New England Revolution. The midfielder will join 25 other players to face Juventus on Aug. 1 at 7:30 pm at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Zahibo, 24, signed with the Revs on Jan. 11, 2018 after seven seasons in Europe. He made an instant impact, as he collected three goals and four assists in his first nine games. He played 90 minutes in all but one of these outings.
His contributions have dwindled as of late and he’s only contributed 251 minutes in his last seven games (two starts). Still, he’s one of three Revs players to feature in every game across all competitions.
Zahibo is the top Revs field player in two categories, as he has the most recoveries (110) and successful passes in the opponent’s half (288). He’s also third in successful passes (434), per Opta.
