Against Eastern Conference power New York City FC on Satuday, the Revolution scored on either side of the break. Both times, the Blues found an equalizer courtesy of Ismael Tajouri. It was a match the Revs certainly could have won if not for the red-hot Tajouri, who has now scored three goals in two outings while filling in for David Villa.
As a tiny consolation prize, mlssoccer.com showered praise on the Revolution Starting XI following the 2-2 draw. Diego Fagundez earned a nomination for MLS Goal of the week (you can vote on mlssoccer.com) for curling a first-half strike past Sean Johnson.
