Revolution schedule preseason trip to Spain

The Revs will go to Spain and Florida.

The New England Revolution have announced that they plan to start preparations for the 2019 MLS season on Monday, Jan. 21. They will gather at Gillette Stadium before departing to Marbella, Spain on Jan. 25. After the Revs return from Spain on Feb. 8, they will visit Bradenton, FL from Feb. 12-24.

The Revolution have already scheduled five matches for the 2019 preseason and are looking to add two more. The first three will be held in Marbella, Spain where they’ll face Shanghai Shenhua F.C. (Thursday, Jan 31 at 9 am), Östersunds FK (Friday, Feb. 1 at 9 am), and FC Dynamo Kyiv (Wednesday, Feb 6 at 9 am).

While in Bradenton, FL, the Revs will play Louisville City FC (Thursday, Feb. 14 at 3 pm) and the against KR Reykjavik (Sunday, Feb 23 at 3 pm). The club is looking to add additional matches.

This preseason will allow coaches get all players, both new and old, up to speed before opening day of the 2019 MLS season.
