It’s the holiday season and goalkeeper Matt Turner is celebrating by doing his best Buddy the Elf impression.
Yes, you read that right.
Turner and some of his New England Revolution cohorts have recreated scenes from Will Ferrell’s 2003 hit Elf. The quick videos, which have been shared on Twitter throughout the week, are sure to put anyone in a festive mood.

As you can see, the acting is pretty good. Turner is fully committed to his role while Andrew Farrell and Scott Caldwell provide the perfect cameos. I mean, who didn’t want to see Scotty as an elf?
Perhaps most impressive is the accuracy of the clips. The Revolution digital team obviously aimed for perfection, as their videos are a shot-by-shot mirror of Elf.
