The new year brought a new look for the New England Revolution, as the club released their primary kit at the stroke of midnight.
The new shirt is dark blue with two vertical stripes that are lighter shades of blue. It will be paired with white shorts and dark blue socks.

The jersey, which will be worn during the 2018 and 2019 seasons, is similar to past designs. In 2014 and 2015, the Revs had a simple, yet classy, dark blue jersey. In 2016 and 2017, the club added two stripes (one white, one red) for a PSG-like look. The latest incarnation keeps the vertical stripes but changes their location and color.
The new shirt has gotten mixed reviews. Some like the clean look while others are confused by the various shades of blue.
Regardless of where you stand on the jersey, you’ll have to wait if you want to see it in person. The new jersey isn’t currently on sale but it will be in early 2018.
