The New England Revolution’s marketing campaigns have been hit and miss. The ONE New England slogan works well but these bus ads could’ve been better. That said, the marketing department were spot on with their most recent television ads.
The premise is simple, two actors dressed as British soldiers pester Bostonians. The victims have some choice words for their oppressors, some of which needed to be bleeped. The ads then claim that this is why the American Revolution began in New England before informing soccer fans that they can show the same type of passion by attending games at Gillette Stadium.
There are two versions of the ad. The first has the British soldiers trying to confiscate hats. The second has the soldiers looking to collect taxes from people buying coffee. Both ads are excellent and have already gotten a lot of positive reviews. Take a look below and let us know which one is your favorite.
