After failing to score a goal in two consecutive league matches, the Revolution look poised for a roster shake-up during the summer transfer window.
On Monday, the Revs swapped General and Targeted Allocation Money for the second spot in the MLS Allocation Ranking, among other assets. That news came one week after Revolution President Brian Bilello told the crew from Six States, One Podcast that he expects to bring in “a couple of higher-end roster guys,” which could include a young Designated Player.
While Bilello’s latest plans won’t become official until at least July 10, when the transfer window opens, he clearly has his sights set on significant reinforcements.
During this week’s Morning Muster, we invite you to play the role of Bilello and Revolution GM Mike Burns. What’s the Revs’ greatest need? Is it a young left back who will work his way into the Starting XI? What about a versatile defender who can play center back or fullback? Or maybe a midfielder who can come off the bench and immediately make an impact?
