Over the past two weeks, the Revolution have begun to right the ship. And on Monday, mlssoccer.com took note, showering praise on forward Kei Kamara and goalkeeper Cody Cropper following the Revs’ 3-0 win over the Union.
The league selected both players, along with six other representatives from the Eastern Conference, to its Week 21 Team of the Week. Midfielder Kelyn Rowe earned a spot on the bench.
Kamara scored on either side of halftime against the Union, while Cropper earned his fifth shutout of the season by making four saves. Rowe, who has shined since returning from his first-ever stint with the USMNT, created three chances in the victory.

But for the Revolution, the praise didn’t stop there. The league placed Kamara in a five-way duel for Goal of the Week following his acrobatic finish past Union goalkeeper John McCarthy. Kamara beat McCarthy to a cross and used an outstretched right foot to toe poke a shot into the back of the net.
The Revolution will look to keep rolling on Saturday, when the club visits the second-place Chicago Fire.
