The Revolution have immediate needs. Center back, left back, a pure goalscorer—the club would benefit from several transfer window additions.

And while the team has yet to make make a move, rumors have finally started to surface. Much of the conversation has focused on trading Kei Kamara and acquiring another forward to pair with Juan Agudelo. Most recently, Krisztian Nemeth of Qatari-side Al-Gharafa emerged as a potential target. Nemeth has reportedly drawn interest from his former club, Spoting KC, as well as Crew SC and the Revolution.

The addition of Nemeth, or a forward of his quality, would undoubtedly strengthen the Revs’ roster. But would it turn the club into a playoff contender?
