Who’s the most irreplaceable player on the Revolution roster?

The Revolution roster rarely changes between July and August. When the summer transfer window opens, the team’s front office often refrains from wheeling and dealing.

Yet this time around, club president Brian Bilello has adamantly told fans that 2017 will be different. Bilello plans to add “a couple of higher-end roster guys” before the transfer window closes. If he follows through, the Revs look poised for a roster shake-up. And while that doesn’t necessarily mean the team will unload talent (it has six open roster spots, after all), almost everything could and should be on the table for the 10th-place team in the East.

If that’s true, an interesting question arises: who’s the most irreplaceable player on the Revolution roster? If the team does decide to make a blockbuster deal, is anyone off limits?
