How To Watch: Revolution at Crew SC

We were not aware the Revs were allowed to play teams from the Eastern Conference.

MLS: Columbus Crew SC at New England Revolution Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

The New England Revolution end a two-game road trip with a trip to MAPFRE Stadium and a match with the Columbus Crew SC later tonight.

New England has drawn three straight and are winless in four games while Columbus have lost two in row and three of four overall. Should the Revs grab their first road win of 2017, they would be tied on 13 points in the East standings with the Crew with both teams having played 10 games. Columbus is currently 5th in the conference with the Revs below the red line in 9th.

These two teams will meet again later in the month at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, May 21st. Columbus will play twice before this second matchup as they have an upcoming midweek game vs. Toronto followed by a road game to Montreal. New England hosts Real Salt Lake next week.

Kei Kamara did not travel with the Revs for the second straight week as he and his wife are expecting a child very soon. We wish Kei’s family the best and hope that everyone is happy and healthy in the coming days and weeks.

New England will look to end their winless skid a rebound from a crushing draw in Seattle where last week they blew a 3-0 lead. Columbus battled back from a 0-1 defecit against NYCFC last week to take a 2-1 lead before two late goals by New York saw City win 3-2.
