If you want to see the latest hair trend, look no further than the New England Revolution’s Diego Fagundez.
When Fagundez made his debut for the Revs in 2011, he was just 16 years old. The attacker was full of confidence despite his youth, as he drew a PK before scoring a goal of his own. As a symbol of his uniqueness, Fagundez was sporting a mohawk that night.
That haircut has become synonymous with Fagundez, who has dyed it various colors over the years. Recently he has tried a few different looks, including a bold blonde streak and an assortment of cut outs. One time, Fagundez even etched “me” into the side of his head.
On Saturday, Fagundez debuted his latest fashion statement, as he was completely blonde. The look might not stay around for long, however, as Fagundez hinted at possible tweaks in the future.
“It’s my new look,” Fagundez said. “[It’s] something different I wanted to try out and I think I like it. It’s still in process of getting it to what I want, so little by little it’s going to change.”
