The unexpected bye week was good for Lee Nguyen, who was a full participant in Monday’s practice.
Unexpected off weekend definitely a boon for #NERevs injured players. Nguyen back in full training today, Herivaux working off to the side.

Nguyen departed early from the New England Revolution’s season opener against the Colorado Rapids with an ankle contusion. Despite a hard hit during the first half, the midfielder soldiered on but was forced to exit after a second tackle.
“I wasn’t able put any pressure on it, so I tried but I couldn’t keep going. I told them I needed to come off,” Nguyen told media after game.
Nguyen was listed as questionable on the injury report released before the cancelled Orlando City SC game. On Monday, head coach Jay Heaps revealed that his captain would’ve been available to play.
Heaps said Lee Nguyen (ankle) would've been available to play this past weekend, but "it was good to get a little bit of rest." #NERevs

The extra healing time will be good for Nguyen, who will almost certainly be at full health when the Revs face FC Dallas on Saturday. We can now start speculating about the position Nguyen will play.
