The picture doesn’t reveal much but does feature a red stripe surrounded by white. The red could be part of the three stripe look that’s typical of Adidias jerseys.
This new shirt will replace the red one has been seen during the last two seasons. The outgoing jersey, which also included white and green, was inspired by the flag of New England. The Revs will continue to wear their primary blue kit that has both a red and white stripe down the center.
We will continue to speculate about the new jersey as more clues are revealed throughout the week. The final unveiling will take place on Sunday during a party held from 2-5 pm at the Optum Field Lounge at Gillette Stadium. Fans interested in attending can RSVP here.
