The U23 women’s national team is headed to La Manga, Spain for training and a spring youth tournament from February 25 - March 7. They’ll play Japan, England, and Norway in their first international matches of the year.

The U23s are now being coached by Seattle Reign’s Laura Harvey, who takes over from BJ Snow as he moves into being head of talent identification for the senior WNT. Lots of NWSL players are represented on this U23 roster; we’ll see how the roster shifts with the U23s also scheduled to participate in the Portland Thorns spring invitational tournament from March 26 - April 1, which also includes the Houston Dash and Chicago Red Stars. All of that makes for a nice segue into NWSL preseason proper.
