Surprise proposal highlight of Revolution jersey launch

Valentine’s Day came early for two New England Revolution fans, who got engaged during the jersey launch event held at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.

Danielle Parent was quite surprised when she was called to the stage after the unveiling of the Revolution’s new shirt. The long-time fan believed that she had won a customized jersey—a thrill by itself.

The moment become more joyous when Kelyn Rowe revealed that the shirt read, “Will you marry me?” Parent then turned to see boyfriend Matt Puglise down on one knee before offering an enthusiastic “Yes!”

The couple celebrated their engagement with Rowe, Kei Kamara, Lee Nguyen, Xavier Kouassi, Scott Caldwell, and Diego Fagundez, posing for pictures as hundreds of Revolution fans offered their support. It was a magical afternoon for two dedicated fans.
