Given some of the recent leaks from Real Salt Lake and the Montreal Impact, it wasn’t wrong to speculate that perhaps the New England Revolution were going to get a similar all-white away jersey.
However, after tweeting out numerous teases all week in anticipation of tomorrow’s jersey release the Revs finally have a full kit leak of their own courtesy of Todo Sobre Camisetas, which roughly translates to “All About T-Shirts”. The following tweet is also credited to them (@EleteTSC) but it’s a better view of the jersey:

The easiest comparison I can make is to Dutch club Feyenoord who play in Rotterdam, Netherlands that has a similar half-stripe/two-toned jersey. This Revs version is probably less intricate than the Feyenoord version but it’s still something different. The Flag of New England is still on the back of the shirt near the next and far as we can tell there’s no other green on the jersey.
Personally, I didn’t really want an all-white kit and this certainly is a different look in MLS circles as I can’t remember any recent jerseys that went with a half stripe like this.
There will always be nit-picks to make with a new jersey but I have a feeling this shirt will grow on me in the coming weeks. But what are your thoughts? Leave your critiques in the comments below.
