Most professional athletes get a kick out of seeing their name on official merchandise, whether it’s a t-shirt, bobblehead, or trading card. Unfortunately for Chris Tierney, there was a bit of a mix-up on his most recent Topps card.

No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. That’s a picture of Scott Caldwell with Tierney’s name, number, and position listed. Simply put, it’s an epic fail by the Topps Company.
Fortunately, Tierney had a sense of humor about the mistake, as he sent a tweet to the card’s creator.

It’s a shame that Topps made such an avoidable mistake. That said, the card is now a collector’s item. I fully admit that I’m on the search for one.
